The British Open, or The Open, will be played between July 19-22 at Royal Lytham & St. Annes Golf Course in Lancashire, England.

Below we provide the opening line odds from the Red Rock Casino in Las Vegas with a few of the golfers circled as the betting selections of the MGI handicapping team.

You will notice that again Tiger Woods is the local betting favorite at 7-1. (He is also 3.5-1 at this weeks AT&T National benefiting the Tiger Woods foundation.)  We don’t expect much out of the American golfers in this tournament, as the course is quirky and the field is strong and deep.
