What’s in your Bag?
Gol films newest addition to the MGI is a segment called, “What’s in your bag for the MGI 2012?”
For the 2012 MGI, we start with Craig Goleno, and what is in HIS bag?
The Senator Course in Miami Lakes which has hosted the Miami Golf Invitational for the past 5 years, and again will be the host course in 2012 just received a fantastic review on Golf Talk Lounge. Click here to read more.
The course is a challenging venue, and worth the trip.
We have enjoyed the staff at not only the golf course, but also at the Shula’s Original Steak House which is on site. Great People, and great fun.

Torre Dei Gesuiti Zinfandel 2008 is a Red Italian Wine from Italy. It is from Stornara which is in west southern area of Italy.
This Zin is an exceptional value that may not be found at every wine store in the United States. The Wine Rant team bought theirs at Total Wine & More. The price is under $10 dollars and has a great taste with a very European Zin flavor. It doesn’t have the over the top jammy taste that you get from some of the boutique Zins from California like the Tobin James collection or 7 Deadly Zins, but it is an smooth drinking wine well worth the price!
There are many more expensive Zins out there, but it is nice to try some from Italy where the Primitivo grape an earlier variety prior to Zinfandel has been grown in Puglia (the “heel” of Italy) since the 18th century. This wine has an alcohol percentage of 13.0%. Enjoy!
The 2011 Justin Timberlake Shriners Open in Las Vegas concluded today with Kevin Na holding off Nick Watney.
The MGI Team was out there live to watch it, and a few of the comments are shared below:
“The course looks great, but some of these pros struggle with their short games.” said Allen Grant “I was out there watching the final couple of groups, and they were missing par 3 greens, not getting sand shots as close as you would expect from a pro, and missing short putts. Kevin Na did knock down a great putt at the 17th which locked up the win!”
There is more recap available at one of our partner sites. Golf Talk Lounge.
“I thought the play was great, and it was good to see David Duval and Robert Garrigus playing well again!” said MVG 2011 Craig Goleno. “I love how Garrigus uses a 28 1/2 inch putter when everyone else has gong to these 45 inch plus long putters!”
